Edited it and cleaned it up a bit. I’m happy with it. I always got a kick out of these cheesy shirts but always veered from their somewhat tacky design and notable lack of Cubans as an optional nationality (italians, mexicans, jewish, what have you, but never seen one for a Cuban girl in a store outside of Miami). I figured I’d try to class it up a little.

I LIED!
Because I’ve been laid up since Thursday, a bunch of my super important, time sensitive, things-I-just-don’t-wanna-do errands have piled up and I have to tackle them all today. So, despite the copious amount of codeine I’ve taken yesterday/today, I can’t sleep and am just lying here thinking about the unpleasant agenda I have ahead of me, which includes filing paperwork for keeping my student loans deferred and suing our former landlords for illegally withholding our deposit.
So I made this to quell my churning pansa. It’s kind of crappy and half-finished, but so am I at the moment.
Laid up for the week as the result of having my wisdom teeth out. Keep intending to draw to keep myself busy but keep falling asleep in the middle of things. Will hopefully have some stuff posted late next week.
In the meantime, here’s a picture of Oscar keeping me entertained and a drawing of a jellyfish I drew for Matt to illustrate how I felt post-surgery.
